CAESAREA, Israel, April 18, Shina Systems' AngioCt was recognized as one of the most promising European cardiovascular solutions and was selected to be presented during Innovative and Emerging Technologies session on May 24.

The presentation is scheduled to 9:15 a.m. and will take place in room 120. In addition to the lecture Shina Systems is going to present its cardiovascular solutions in booth R19.

AngioCt introduces a novel approach of integrating Angiography and CT data. It is designed to seamlessly integrate into regular catheterization procedures and provides a cardiologist with decision factors for catheterization procedure planning and execution.

AngioCt performs registration of CTA vascular 3D data with a coronary angiography (CT-to-Angiography registration). It allows a cardiologist to “see” beyond the lumen and to understand the 3D nature of the vessel and the stenosis, to see on the angiography image the location of the plaque that causes the stenosis.

Given decision factors generated by AngioCt, cardiologist may reduce radiation and contrast injections, and overall duration of the procedure.

CardioCt receives FDA clearance
