To be transmitted live via satellite from the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam - AngioCt at work in a CTO catheterization procedure during EuroPCR, may 14th, Barcelona.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Barcelona, Spain, May 6th, 2008 - Shina Systems Ltd., a leading cardiovascular imaging and analysis software provider, announced today that AngioCt - its revolutionary CT and angiography integration product, will be used during a catheterization procedure that will be transmitted live during EuroPCR 2008.

The live case will be transmitted from the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, May 14, 10:00 AM, to EuroPCR. EuroPCR is the official congress of the European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions. The congress is being held from May 13th to 16th, in Barcelona, Spain.

During the procedure, Dr. Robert-Jan M. van Geuns, an interventional cardiologist at the Erasmus MC Thoraxcenter will perform catheterization on a patient suffering from a total block in his artery. The occluded segment of his artery has been virtually reconstructed using CardioCt - the Cardiac CT analysis tool made by Shina Systems.

"We intend to register the CT images with the X-ray angiography in the catheterization laboratory during the course of the intervention" said Prof. Patrick Serruys, head of the catheterization laboratories at the Thoraxcenter. "AngioCt has been used in the center in a number of CTO cases. It provided us with the best guidance during the procedures by overlaying the unseen blocked arteries on top of the angiogram".

"In the past months we have installed AngioCt in leading medical centers in Europe, receiving enthusiastic reactions from radiologists and cardiologists", Said Naor Shina, CEO of Shina systems.

AngioCt innovatively integrates 3D cardiac CT data with coronary angiography, enabling the cardiologist to see beyond the lumen. Integrated into regular catheterization procedures, AngioCt brings cardiac CT into the catheterization laboratory, providing cardiologists with key decision making factors for planning and executing the catheterization.
