16-Oct-2008

AngioCt was transmitted live to the audience at the 2008 TCT, from a catheterization procedure at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Craig Thompson during the session moderated by Dr. Jeffrey W. Moses.
The Case:
The case was a Chronic Total Occlusion case treated in the Retrograde Approach. AngioCt was used to overlay a CT-derived image over the angiograms, in order to facilitate navigation through a small branch of the left , into the occluded RCA.
After successfully accessing the occluded RCA, Dr. Thompson used AngioCt's diagnostic toolset to measure the stenosis length and diameter for selection of the appropiate stent location, model and dimensions.
